$4.99 .com domain names in November — NameBright offers

Fresh registrar offering below-cost pricing in promotion.

NameBrightI don’t usually write regarding domain name registrars offering discounts, but this one seemed like it was worth passing on.

NameBright.com – the domainer-created domain name registrar that I wrote regarding last month – is offering a promotion to get the word out regarding its offerings.

The firm is offering $4.99 .com registrations throughout November. If you have a funded account it’s only $4.58.

What makes this offer particularly unique is that it’s not limited to one per client, nor does it require an additional purchase. It’s essentially unlimited for fresh registrations; The firm put a 100,000 domain name cap on the promotion.

If 100,000 domains are registered at the discounted price, that would mean NameBright eats regarding $350,000 in losses compared to the wholesale cost it has to pay for domain names.
