NamesCon kicks off second day with 40% fresh attendees

Three great keynotes to attend today.

NamesCon is entering its second day today at the Tropicana in Las Vegas.

40% of attendees this year are first-timers, a surprisingly high number that might suggest a renewed interest in the domain business.

There are a number of noteworthy keynotes to check out today.

At 10 am, billionaire Bhavin Turakhia will take to the stage. Along with his brother, Bhavin founded Directi, Radix and Media.net.

GoDaddy VP and GM Paul Nicks presents at 11 am. He will give a data-driven presentation on how to invest in domain names.

I’m also interested in domain broker Kate Buckley’s “Storytelling in Sales” keynote at 1 pm.
