$50-$75 million annual registry revenue in 3-5 years — Rightside targets

Firm predicts strong upswing in registry revenue.

Rightside’s revenue from fresh TLDs might be trivial to its business right now, but the firm expects big things in the future.

Last year, Rightside generated registry revenue of $8.4 million.

This year, the firm expects to generate $12-$15 million of registry revenue.

In the FY 2019-FY 2021 timeframe, the firm expects $50-$75 million annually with an EBITDA margin for the firm of 20%.

I suspect investors will be happy if the firm hits these numbers.

On yesterday’s investor conference call, Rightside CEO Taryn Naidu stated that Q1 was its best cash revenue quarter for fresh TLDs so far, when taking out spikes from previous launches.

In an investor presentation, the firm also revealed cash revenue numbers for some of its top level domains, as of May 5:

.News $1.86M
.Rocks $1.04M
.Live $0.81M
.Ninja $1.59M
.Lawyer + .Attorney $2.40M
