RipOff Notes files its own Ripoff Note

Site files complaint over .info domain name.

The controversial RipOff Note web site that allows people to leave notes of alleged ripoffs and scams has filed a “note” of its own.

The owner of RipOff Note has filed a UDRP case against the registrant of RipOffReport.info. RipOff Note’s web address is RipOffReport.com. RipOffReport.com is one of the top 1,000 sites in the U.S. as stated by Quantcast.

Until recently RipOffReport.info was registered to a Tuscon, Arizona man. But the domain expired and was registered to a fresh person (who’s hiding behind whois privacy) on April 14.

So far the fresh site has just the skeleton of a fresh WordPress blog.

Xcentric Ventures, LLC, the registrant of RipOffReport.com, is based in Tempe, Arizona. I have reached out to the site for a comment regarding this case and will update the story if I hear back.
