User domain name sales up to $21,000 — 17 end
Here are end user that bought domain names the prior week.
Sedo had a strong sales week, turning in 685 transactions for regarding $2 million of domain name sales.
Among the buyers was a maker of prosthetics (e.g. fake legs) that bought the fitting domain name CustomFit.com. Another buyer fixed a cute spelling (read: hard to read) in its domain name for just $4,000. And a UK firm is getting ready to launch a rental site at Leasing.co.uk.
Here’s a look at these end user domain name sales from the past week:
(You can view previous lists like this here. If you’d like to learn how to sell your domain names like these on Sedo, download this note.)
CustomFit.com $21,000 – Aleva Stores sells prosthetic and compression socks.
Team.ly $2,500 – the whois still shows the same firm that has owned it for the past couple years.
Spotlight.ly $2,400 – the domain was purchased by ISECOMMMERCE in Seoul.
Barcelo.cn €10,000 – Barcelo Corporation, a resort and hotel firm, bought the China ccTLD to go with its .com.
GreenStreet.com.au $2,000 – Green Street Property is a real estate firm in Australia.
GlobalCare.org $2,500 – now forwards to the charity at GlobalCare.org.uk.
PepCart.com $9,999 – Buyer Trendsutra Platform Services Pvt Ltd runs Indian housewares site PepperFry.
SecondAmendment.com $10,000 – I can’t tie the fresh owner (an individual) to a gun rights organization, but I think this qualifies as an end user purchase (and a good deal at that).
ImmoFacile.com €3,900 – Immo-Facile.com can now lose the hyphen in its domain name.
StackPack.com $2,000 – Series International sells seating for stadiums, churches, etc. I imagine this is the product name for a stackable seating arrangement.
Icos.net €2,500 – Icos Excelec Ltda sells industrial components at Icos.com.br.
SocialMiner.com $4,000 – Brazilian online marketing firm Social Miner learned how to spell — it’s existing domain name is SoclMiner.com. Ouch. At just $4,000, why did they wait so long?
Jobable.com $3,000 – Hiring software HiringScreen.
Recover.org $4,000 – I’m pretty sure the buyer is the founder of XXXchurch.
Leasing.co.uk $9,999 – the buyer has a splash page up, and promises to make it easy to find rental properties.
eCoffee.com $2,499 – these guys sell some fancy coffee machines at eCoffee.com.
MyPingo.com $7,500 – The whois has privacy, but I bet this is the calling card firm that owns Pingo.com.
CashPoint.nl €9,000 – Bonus entry: a reader pointed out that this was purchased by the betting site that runs CashPoint.com.
