We know GoDaddy is a powerhouse for fresh domain registrations, but until now we haven’t had great visibility into how many domain names it auctions off each month.

That data and a lot more is now available on Go Daddy Auctions Domain Market Note.

Here’s a solid stat: The firm sold 109,000 domains by auction last quarter.

The note includes a list of top sales by month, counting June’s sale of UpCloud.com for a whopping $100,000.

You’ll also find which keywords are hot in auction sales in a tag cloud similar to VeriSign’s domain tag cloud.

The most common keyword in Go Daddy auction sales? “Online”, which also nicely correlates to the most common keywords in fresh domain registrations.
