Auction Enters Day 2 — SnapNames Live

First day has solid sales; big ticket domains to be auctioned off today.

The first day of SnapNames’ live domain auction at DomainFEST appears to have been a success. The first day included lower priced domains. Big ticket domains — counting invitro.com, track.com, and athlete.com — go on auction today.

Domain Name News blogged results as they happened yesterday evening. It looks like Alimony.com was the clear winner, taking in $75,000. Butcher.com did well selling for $52,500.

There also were a number of bargains to be found on the first day. ChapterEleven.com sold for only $14,000, Guarantees.com was a nice buy at $7,000, and HealthCareRecords.com sold for $6,000.

The second day of the live auction kicks off at 4PM Pacific today. SnapNames appears to have waived the $100 remote bidder fee. In order to participate or follow along you must download proprietary software at snapnames.com/liveAuctions.do.
