This list shows there are lots of firms that need domain upgrades
Lots of firms need to upgrade their domains. That’s good news for you.
What is a good domain? A good domain matches the brand name of a firm, and, in the case of corporate China where .com is dominant, this also means using the .com extension. For example, Alibaba Group Holding Limited is generally known as “Alibaba” (brand name), so Alibaba.com is a good domain; AlibabaGroup.com is less desirable and AlibabaGroupHoldingLtd.com is unacceptable, in my opinion.
Still, many firms don’t seem to understand this basic rule, as I can find three firms on the list that even include “Ltd” in their domain: ccccLtd.cn (China Communications Construction), cnbmLtd.com (China National Building Material), and cnoocLtd.com (CNOOC).
There are many domains that you can tell right away what the upgrade ought to be, for example e-ChinaLife.com (China Life), ChinaTelecom-h.com (China Telecom), and Greenlandsc.com (Greenland Group). I have included the full list at the bottom of this post for your own treasure-hunting pleasure.

Jack Ma once stated that every technological revolution takes regarding 50 years, with the first 20 years being regarding the technology itself and the next 30 years regarding application of the technology. The first domains were released in 1985, so maybe the golden days of domain investing are here now.
