VIP.com sells for $1.4M

In the biggest publicly disclosed domain name sale of 2005, British betting site operator Leisure & Gaming disclosed that it has purchased VIP.com for $1.4M. The domain name purchase follows Leisure & Gaming’s purchase of VIP Management Solutions for $42M.

Online Casino’s are known for deep pockets and high margins. They are willing to pay top dollar for domains that deliver targeted traffic.
