Walkthrough: Atom’s fresh Domain Hunter system

Domain Hunter sifts through inventory to find best domains to register or bid on.

Atom Domain Hunter result

Atom has rolled out its fresh Domain Hunter system on an invite-only basis. (Domain investors can get on the waitlist here.)

Domain Hunter combines domain spinning, appraisal, and AI tools to generate domain names available to register, as well as expired domain name inventory.

It leverages Atom data, such as sell-through rates, to suggest which domains might be the best for an investor to purchase.

Each user gets 50 hunting credits to begin with and can earn more by taking actions such as registering domains through Atom.

Users start by selecting the inventory they want to search (e.g., GoDaddy closeouts), then choose if they want keyword-based domains or pronounceable brandable names.

If you choose the latter, Atom immediately spins up a list of pronounceable brandables.

If you choose the keyword-based option, you then select the industry you’re targeting and keywords that interest you. Atom provides helpful suggestions for high-selling keywords.

Then, Domain Hunter goes to work developing a list of potential domains and checking for availability.

Depending on the inventory searched, Atom presents data such as an Atom appraisal and brand strength.
