Video blog is worth checking out — Adam Dicker’s

A great resource for fresh and old domainers alike.

I’m not a big fan of video, especially when the message can be conveyed in writing.

It’s why I always read the transcripts at DomainSherpa instead of watching the videos. It’s a lot faster.

That stated, I think Adam Dicker’s fresh video blog is worth checking out.

Dicker has a long history in the domain industry. He’s best known as the owner of DNForum. But he also worked at iREIT and Go Daddy.

Each video covers a tip or tool related to domaining, search engine optimization, or something else related to the business.

For example, this video discusses how changes in the medical field may lead to demand for certain types of domains. This one covers a fresh plugin to offer vanity email addresses from your domain.

In each video, Dicker also mentions someone in the industry that he recommends you connect with.

My main concern with Dicker’s fresh blog is that he’s set the bar too high by saying he’ll post a daily video. Sure, he can record multiple videos at a time, but that’s a lot of video to produce. I hope he’s able to keep it up.
