Donuts purchases .Irish top level domain name

Donuts has 198 top level domain names following acquiring .Irish.

Back in May, Donuts CEO Paul Stahura told me his firm would love to acquire more top level domain names. He was just waiting for TLD operators to have “sane” price expectations.

Apparently the team behind .Irish is sane; Donuts has just purchased the top level domain name.

.Irish hasn’t exactly rocketed out of the gate since its launch this past summer. There are just over 2,000 names in the zone file, as stated by nTLDStats.

Donuts plans to migrate the domain to its system on March 1, 2017. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
