15 end user domain sales counting a .Tel domain
An accounting firm, streaming services comparison site, and multiple consulting firms bought domain names.
Sedo’s top public sale a week ago was Profitable.com. It’s not clear if the buyer is a domain investor or end user.
The prior week also saw a rare .tel domain sale, and it is a unique domain hack: hos.tel.
Here’s a look at some of the domains end users bought at Sedo this past week. You can review previous end user sales lists here.
Buchhaltung.de €22,500 – Buchanltung means ‘accounting’ in German. The domain is used by accounting firm Zettel Wirtschaft. What a great value for this accounting firm to acquire a category-defining domain name in German.
Memories.co $10,000 – This website is still in development with the message, “Memories.co is a revolutionary fresh service that will help you collate, share and preserve your most precious memories for future generations.”
UpFix.com $6,000 – This domain was purchased by My Airbags, an online auto parts supplier and repair shop that uses the domain MyAirbags.com.
Playzo .com $4,995 – Cyber Play Management, which appears to be an online gaming firm in Malta.
CapBay.com $4,995 – CapitalBay, a peer-to-peer lending platform, purchased the domain. It forwards to its website at CapitalBay.com.my.
CopperToxicity .com $4,500 – A site regarding Copper Toxicity, which the author states is a build-up of copper in the body.
BDG.io $3,899 – Better Decisions Group is an international business consultancy. It was founded in 2004 and was previously known as 2K Business Intelligence Solutions. It forwards BDG.io to better-decisions-group.com (ouch).
Light-beam.com €3,450 – The head of school for a group of international schools in Bangkok called The Early Learning Center bought this domain.
MPI.at €3,099 – Forwards to Moser-Partner.at, a website for Moser & Partner, an engineering and architectural consultancy based in Austria that provides planning services for building solutions.
Ceratek.com $3,000 – SencorpWhite sells a product called Ceratek, a sealant for medical pouches and trays.
Opera.it €3,000 – This domain was purchased by the Italian investment management firm Anima SGR. This could potentially be a purchase for the launch of a fresh product.
ProExpo.com €3,000 – Forwards to HERCProExpo.com, a website for Herc Rentals’ national leadership and sales meeting and internal trade show.
Novarise.com $2,750 – Novarise is a real estate education website.
Hos.tel €2,500 – Success Hotel Management GmbH bought this clever domain hack.
StreamingDienste.net €2,000 – German website that compares streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Dienste means ‘services’ in German.
