Go Daddy Sells 39k aftermarket domains last month counting Honest.com

Honest.com highlights strong month for GoDaddy’s aftermarket platform.

GoDaddy’s monthly “Domain Market Note” is out, and the firm notes selling 38,659 domain names last month through its domain aftermarket platform.

The top sale was for Honest.com at over $100,000. The seller was Anything.com.

Spacesuits.com $18,000
IndianJewelry.com $16,005
Bizable.com $15,600 (this was on the most recent Afternic note, so it was a syndicated listing)
EAM.com $15,000
NextDayPrinting.com $15,000

The majority of the domains were sold via auction. Buy Now domains accounted for 45% of all domains sold and offer/counter-offer just 1%.

The most common keyword found in domains it sold was “Online”. Other popular terms (not in order) counting blog, insurance, best, home, free, and auto.

During the fourth quarter the firm sold 118,233 domain names.
