GoDaddy’s expiring domains (my experience)

A month ago, I posted regarding bidding on and winning a domain in GoDaddy’s “The Domain Name Aftermarket”. Yesterday I finally received notice from GoDaddy that the name is mine.

Or is it? I can’t find it anywhere in my GoDaddy account. I e-mailed support; we’ll see what happens. In the meantime, since bidding on the domain its backlinks and overall value has decreased. Perhaps that is GoDaddy’s goal. By selling domains ahead of they are kicked out by search engines they can get more money.
