These are the biggest and fastest-growing domain name registrars for .com domains.

ICANN has published the latest official data from Verisign (NASDAQ: VRSN) regarding the .com namespace. This registrar-by-registrar note covers July 2022.

Fresh this month, I’ve added MarkMonitor’s numbers in Newfold Digital’s total. The firm just completed the buyout of the registrar. While it didn’t own it in July, I’ll include it going forward. This adds regarding 650,000 .com domains to Newfold.

GoDaddy Corporate Domains (which competes with MarkMonitor) crossed 100,000 .coms under management in July.

There are a couple of fresh entrants to the monthly Top 10, likely due to bulk registration deals. On the overall leaderboard, Google Domains jumped ahead of Alibaba.
