The leases range from $10 to $150, which suggests that most lessees wanted to buy the domains, but simply couldn’t afford them even at relatively low prices.

The second highest was BeachVillas.com for $15,000. I wonder if this sale is connected to the spate of ccTLD registrations involving the word “villa”?
