DomCollect plus .NYC auction — SnapNames scores

SnapNames to help Sedo and .NYC sell domain names.

SnapNames disclosed late the prior week that it will be helping Sedo sell some of its DomCollect domain name portfolio. DomCollect domains will be auctioned off with fresh inventory added intermittently.

Also, SnapNames will be the online auction provider for .NYC’s next domain name auction. .NYC will auction 24 fashion related domain names on the platform, counting Fashion.nyc, Models.nyc and Shoes.nyc.

In October 2016, .NYC auctioned real estate related domain names on NameJet. That auction pulled in over $70,000 of sales, led by RealEstate.nyc for $21,300 and Apartments.nyc for $16,155.
