Domains now showing in Namecheap registration path — Spaceship SellerHub

Soon, it will be the exclusive way to reach the registration path at the world’s second-largest domain registrar.

Namecheap is removing Afternic and Sedo domains from its registration path, but is offering an alternative way for domain sellers to reach its clients: listing domains on Spaceship’s SellerHub.
Spaceship is one of Namecheap’s domain registrars, and SellerHub is Spaceship’s fresh domain sales platform.
Today, CEO Richard Kirkendall disclosed that domains listed on SellerHub are showing directly in the registration path on both Spaceship and Namecheap.

This is no modest detail: Namecheap registers the second highest number of domains every month, next to GoDaddy.
And Kirkendall stated that “at some point soon,” the only way to appear in Namecheap’s search will be to list with SellerHub or the firm’s upcoming Brandstore service. Namecheap right now shows domains from Afternic and Sedo.
It seems that the firm could enhance the SellerHub offering further by striking syndication deals with other registrars.
