Domain name registrar files trademark for “Soon Come”. What is coming soon?

Uniregistrar Corp, aka Uniregistry, aka Uni has filed an intent-to-use trademark that has me scratching my head.

The firm filed a trademark application for “Soon Come” the prior week. It lists four services:

  • Marketing and purchase consulting services in the field of domain names
  • Providing temporary use of on-line non-downloadable computer software for creating web sites
  • Electronic transmission of e-mail
  • Domain name registration services

If you Google the term you’ll find references to a Jamaican term for being laid back.

Laidback domain name services? I don’t know regarding that.

Does anyone have some insight on this term and thoughts on how it might be used?
