Website.org Sale for 20,500 EUR — Sedo Completes

.Org, .info lead sales at Sedo this stretch

It’s not often that a domain name sales venue’s top sale is a .org or .info domain name, but that was the case this stretch at Sedo. The firm sold Website.org for 20,500 EUR (roughly $30,000 USD). The firm also completed its sale of Printer.info for $21,500. That particular domain was sold at auction a while back but the transaction was just completed.

Its top .com domain sale was LiveWater.com at $17,500 EUR, which technically beats out Printer.info.

But the most impressive sale to me is Printer.info at such a strong price. Examples of other .info domains that sold this year as stated by DNSalePrice are Hoteles.info for $30,789 and WallStreet.info for $25,500.

Ahead of you fret regarding the lack of big ticket .com sales, this is probably just an anomaly. It doesn’t help that it’s August, a slow month for just regarding every type of business (counting domain names, by the way). Heck, half of Europe takes off the month of August, doesn’t it?

It’s unclear who bought Printer.info since the whois record still shows Sedo’s escrow service.
