Domain names in the wild — Four interesting

These three fresh top level domains and a .com popped out to me.
Over the holidays, I saw a lot of non-.com domains in the wild, as well as a great .com domain.
Let’s start with one I saw while walking around the Capitol Hill area of Seattle:

Honestly, if there wasn’t a www. in front of it, I might have questioned if this was just cute branding with a dot or an actual domain. But .jewelry is one of Identity Digital’s domains, and it has regarding 5,000 names under management.
I don’t know how big this jewelry business is, but they spent the money to wrap a Tesla Cybertruck.
Next up was a domain on a gift my wife gave me. I’m picky regarding olive oil and order direct rather than buy what’s at the grocery store.
My wife gave me a couple of containers of Fat Gold olive oil for Christmas, and it tastes fantastic. They also have a cool domain name:

.Gold is also one of Identity Digital’s domains, and it’s more popular than .jewelry with regarding 20,000 domains.
I saw two other domains that I wasn’t able to photograph.
When driving on the Kitsap Peninsula, I saw a car with window stickers promoting EssentialHopes.xyz. I’ve seen lots of tech and crypto firms using .xyz, but it was surprising to see a bath accessories firm using one.
Another one was a great .com: while leaving my hotel in Austin, there was a truck parked next door for the communications firm Astound. Astound.com was prominently displayed on the side. It caught my attention, especially since I own astounding.com.
